NAF Airstrike Kills 300 Insurgents In Borno

The Nigeria Airforce said that it has killed at least 300 insurgents during night airstrikes in their last operations in Borno State.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadiq Abubakar disclosed this after commissioning borehole and 30 Bedroom Emergency Hospitalbuilt by the Air Force to ameliorate health challenges in Bama Internally Displaced Persons Camp.

Why about our last night operations, at least 300 of the terrorist were killed in that operations, they can never wake to fight us again.

“I  urge you to continue this job you are doing here, there is no hiding place for them, we shallcontinue to strike them”, the Air force boss told his personnel.

He used the opportunity to urge the insurgents to surrender from wherever they are and face justice or die.

“While we secure the land, it is also our responsibility to secure lives, so Air Force built this hospital to address health challenges in this camp. We have trained personnel that will be attending to the challenges here”, he said.

Air Marshal Abubakar also donated the sum ofN150,000 to the IDPs pupils receiving classes under tents in the camp.

In his remarks, The Borno State governor,  Kashim Shettima thanked the Nigeria Airforce for deeming it fit to build hospital for internally displaced persons especially, when it is most needed.

“We cannot thank the Airforce enough. We the people of Borno remain indebted to you. I haveinspected all wards in the hospital and noticed that they were furnished with modern equipment.

“Let me tell you this, by next month we shall begin reconstruction of Bama town. Now we have more than a million blocks on ground in Bama , so we are planning that by next year allour IDPs will return home because there’s no dignity in camp,” Shettima said.
