The appointment of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim KpotuM Idris, was confirmed today 7th September, 2016 at the State house, by the Council ofState during a meeting presided over by President Buhari. He was appointed back in June after Immediate past IGP Solomon Arase retired from office when he reached the mandatory 60 years retirement age.
